Vitor Belfort (18-8-0) will make his UFC return this Saturday at UFC 103 against Rich "Ace" Franklin (25-4-0). The Brazilian will look to make an instant impact in the UFC with a win over former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin. Belfort has won four in a roll including brutal KO wins over Terry Martin and Matt Lindland. Belfort last fought in January of this year. Belfort will be entering the fight after a long layoff which may or may not effect his game.
UFC 105 is in desperate need for an intriguing main event. The UFC is looking at pairing Randy "The Natural" Couture (16-10) up against Brandon "The Truth" Vera (11-3). It was rumored after his loss to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira that Couture would drop back down to 205. It appears as though those rumors are becoming a reality. Couture who has beat the likes of Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz and Tim Sylvia will be entering the fight with back to back losses. Couture was stopped in second round by Brock Lesnar at UFC 91.
Two news fights are in the works for upcoming UFC card. It was previously expected that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (17-3) would make his UFC debut at UFC 105 in the main event. Now it seems as though he will face off against Luis Cane (10-1) at UFC 106. "Little Nog" is currently riding into the UFC on a five fight winning streak and will look to make it six in a roll when he faces off against light heavyweight prospect Luis Cane. Nogueira has notable wins over Guy Mezger, Alistair Overeem and Dan Henderson.
Two fights are being considered for UFC 105 including a light heavyweight showdown between newcomers Alexander Gustafsson (8-0) and Jared Hamman (10-1). The majority of Hamman's wins have come by way of TKO or Knockout. None of his fights have gone passed the second round. He was knocked out by Poai Suganuma in just 15 seconds in April 2008. He return in August of 2008 for a rematch with Poai Suganuma. Hamman stopped him by TKO in the first round. Hamman hasn't found since.
There have been some recently developments and UFC updates for today including a proposed bout at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale between Frankie Edgar (10-1) and Kurt Pellegrino (14-4). Frankie Edgar is coming off his biggest win to date over former lightweight champion Sean Sherk. Pellegrino is also coming off of a big win over Josh Neer at UFC 101. Pellegrino will enter the fight on a three fight winning streak and will look to build his streak to four straight wins.
Is Todd Duffee the real deal? Well, we could find out soon because MMA Junkie is reporting that heavyweight Todd Duffee will be fighting at UFC 107. An opponent has not yet been announced for the 23 year old. After his 7 second debut at UFC 102, Duffee stated that he wanted to take the fast track in the UFC. It appears that Duffee's wish has been granted.
There has been several UFC Updates announced today including UFC updates that will change future cards including UFC 106 and UFC 107. A new fight is being put together for UFC 106. Marcus Davis (16-5) could face Ben Saunders (7-1-2) at UFC 106. Both fighters are coming off losses with Davis losing a split decision to Dan Hardy at UFC 99 in a fight that many felt could have gone either way. Davis who was a cast member of The Ultimate Fighter season 2 has wins over Chris Lytle, Paul Kelly and Paul Taylor.

UFC Fight Night 19 takes place on September 16. The main card airs live on SpikeTV. The event is headlined by a lightweight showdown between Ultimate Fighter winner Nate Diaz and season 2 contestant Melvin Guillard. The co main event is another lightweight bout between Gray Maynard and Roger Huerta.
Nate Diaz currently holds a record of 10-4. Diaz is entering the fight with back to back losses to Clay Guida and Joe Stevenson. Diaz has notable wins over Kurt Pellegrino and Josh Neer. Diaz has very good submissions as well as solid boxing. The majority of Diaz's wins comes by submission.
