The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 Finale Card Announced

Roy Nelson and Brendan Schaub will do battle at The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 Finale to determine who is the ultimate fighter. Many other contestants from the show will also be appearing on the card including season 3 contestant Matt Hamill. Hamill will meet rising star Jon Jones in a light heavyweight showdown. Kimbo Slice is also scheduled to fight UFC vet Houston Alexander in a match that should be anything but boring.

TUF Season 10 Finale takes place this Saturday at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The televised portion of the card airs live and free on SpikeTV.

Amir Sadollah vs Brad Blackburn at UFN 20

Amir Sadollah will look to make it two in a roll after an impressive win over Phil Baroni was UFC 106. In order to do that, Amir must conquer Brad Blackburn at Ultimate Fight Night 20 which takes place on January 11. Amir pulled off a lot of upset en route to winning the seventh season of the Ultimate Fighter. Sadollah was stopped quickly by Johny Hendrick. Many believed that the stoppage quick. Regardless, Amir bounced back with an impressive win at UFC 106.

Koscheck and Paulo Thiago 2 at UFC 109

Was the first fight a fluke? Or perhaps it was a quick stoppage? Josh Koscheck will finally be able to set the score when he faces Paula Thiago in a rematch at UFC 109 on February the 6th. Koscheck looked good in the first fight standing up and seemed to be winning until getting caught with a punch that sent him to the canvas. The fight was stopped and many people believed it was a bad stoppage. Koscheck will get his chance at redemption at UFC 109. Thiago will want to prove that the first fight was not a fluke by beating Koscheck again.

Sponsors RVCA and Clinch Gear Banned by UFC

It seems the UFC has banned RVCA and Clinch Gear from the Octagon according to Fighters Only Magazine. The entire article quotes that, "RVCA and Clinch Gear have become the two latest additions to the UFC’s sponsorship blacklist, it was confirmed today. The bannings were the subject of much discussion among industry insiders at the weekend’s UFC 105 event, but were not confirmed until today.

Countdown to UFC 106

SpikeTV will air Countdown to UFC 106 late tonight. The show is supposedly going to be aired at 12:30 AM Eastern. It also appears that the show is only going to run thirty minutes long. The show usually airs around 10 or 11pm Eastern and normally runs for one hour. The lack of title fight must be the reason for the dramatic change. UFC 106 is headlined by Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin 2.

Carwin vs Lesnar Delayed Again

It seems as though the fight between UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and top contender Shane Carwin for the UFC Heavyweight Championship will be pushed back even further. Shane Carwin broke the news on his official blog. Carwin posts "Guys my manager Jason Genet just told me that UFC 108 is not happening. Brock has Mono and what the UFC has told me is that I have earned the title shoot but I have to wait for the title holder." Nothing has been officially announced.
