The retirement talk surrounding the pound for pound king, Anderson Silva, has been confirmed as a hoax. The UFC Middleweight champion is expected to continue fighting until he turns 35. Silva still has six fights remaining on his current contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The middleweight champ is scheduled to face off with Patrick Cote next month. Silva most recent stepped up in weight class to dominate brawler James Irvin in the first round. It is unclear if any of his six remaining fights will take place within the light heavyweight division.
